Multiple objectives

To meet the scientific challenges posed by health data, Heva mobilizes expertise, the most relevant data sources (ad hoc data collection, secondary data, linked data, etc.), study designs (cross-sectional studies, cohorts, case-controls, etc.) and analysis methodologies (adjustment, propensity score, clustering, etc.) to best suit to your research questions.

This enables Heva to cover a wide range of fields of investigation, from the identification and description of target populations, to studies of utilization, efficacy and comparative safety, HEOR, etc.

Epidemiology

Efficiency and safety

Care pathways

Proper use and adherence to recommendations

Medical economics

Care offering

Epidemiology

We characterize target populations, epidemiological indicators (incidence, prevalence, mortality, etc.), care practices and large-scale therapeutic trajectories. These analyses are essential to document the epidemiology of a pathology, supporting a marketing authorization application or preparing an HAS evaluation.

Efficiency and safety

In a clinical trial, we evaluate toxicity and the minimum effective dose in healthy or sick volunteers. The drug may be granted marketing authorization (AMM) by the ANSM if its therapeutic value is proven, and if it is safe for the patient and can be used in complete safety. Medical devices, on the other hand, will obtain CE marking once their clinical performance and safety have been demonstrated through exploratory and confirmatory clinical investigations.

We also use robust methodologies (propensity scores, longitudinal analyses, causal models) to compare the performance of different therapeutic options in real life. These results strengthen comparative evaluation dossiers and scientific publications. Heva designs and carries out real-life studies in line with the requirements of health authorities (EMA, ANSM), in particular PASS and post-marketing follow-up studies. Our protocols are validated by regulatory authorities and conducted in accordance with good epidemiological practice (ENCePP, ISPE, STROBE, RECORD-PE).

Care pathways

We reconstruct patient care trajectories to identify breakpoints, diagnostic delays and optimization levers. We use dedicated algorithms (TAK, ATLAS, process mining, etc.) to identify and visualize these pathways. These analysis feed the strategic reflections product positioning and institutional discussions.

Proper use and adherence to recommendations

We analyze initiation, persistence and adherence to recommendations, as well as patterns of use of drugs or medical devices. These studies are essential for health product risk management plans (RMPs), regulatory submissions and product differentiation strategies.

Medical economics

We carry out economic and medico-economic studies, as well as estimates of the burden of disease, to provide answers to all these questions. This feed dossiers for the authorities, such as responding to requests for real-life monitoring, or providing insight to healthcare establishments on the impact of the arrival of a new treatment on their organization and financial equilibrium.

Care offering

We also analyze local healthcare provision (density of healthcare professionals, geographical accessibility, use of facilities) to identify regional disparities and areas of greatest need. These data are invaluable in guiding deployment strategies, awareness-raising initiatives and local partnerships.
